Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of the Chess Meet app (also shown as “Let’s Chess”), named at the bottom of this page. By using the app you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines.

1. Who can use Chess Meet

Meet & Play is 18+

Meet & Play is only for adults. Giving a false date of birth breaks these terms.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Your username must not impersonate anyone or break the Community Guidelines. You can delete your account at any time (how).

3. Meeting people in person

Your safety comes first

Meet & Play helps adults find chess games nearby. We do not check, screen or supervise the people you meet, and we are not present at meetups or in-person tournaments. Meet only in the public places the app lists, follow the safety advice, and use your own judgement. Places come from public sources and players’ suggestions; we check them but cannot promise a place is open or still hosts chess. Organisers are responsible for the in-person tournaments they create.

4. What you may not do

Anything the Community Guidelines forbid, and also: break the law; use bots, scripts or engines to play; interfere with the app or its servers; collect other players’ data; or try to get around a block, a suspension or the age limit.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (messages, profile picture, place suggestions). You allow us to store and show it inside the app so the features work, and to review it for moderation. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

6. Ratings, tournaments, Gold and Premium

7. Warnings, suspension and bans

Breaking the rules has consequences

We may warn, suspend (for example from Meet & Play) or permanently ban accounts that break these terms, especially when someone’s safety is at risk. A ban closes the account. You can stop using the app at any time.

8. The app is provided as it is

We work to keep Chess Meet available and correct, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties, as far as the law allows. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of other players, online or in person. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
